We are pleased to announce that on September 8, 2007, Rosie gave birth to:

"Basil", a little boy, was born at 12:00 midnight, weighing 8.1 oz.

"Coriander", a little boy, was born at 12:25 AM, weighing 7.1 oz.

"Nutmeg", a little girl, was born at 12:55 AM, weighing 8.2 oz.

The Puppies' Pedigree

Our Rosie (the Mom) is beautiful and well-rounded Shiba, with an easy-going, happy attitude. She is OFA Excellent, and CERF Clear with normal patellas (CHIC). She is an AKC Champion and has started competing in agility (already having earned three Level 1 CPE Agility titles), and has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certification (for which she was trained and handled by her 13 year old co-owner, Eleanore). The Daddy is Debbie Meador's Saku (Tanasea Shibas), who, as well as being strikingly beautiful and an AKC Champion, has a delightful personality: outgoingly freindly, and extremely people-oriented. Saku is OFA Excellent, and CERF Clear with normal patellas (CHIC). Many thanks to our friend Diane Richardson (Frontier Shibas) for facilitating this breeding and making these puppies possible!
